It's important to remember that every body is different.  We all have different limb lengths as well as varying degrees of flexibility, so the way your body moves into a pose is unique to you.   Celebrate that uniqueness!

Strive to reach the point in your yoga practice that challenges you personally.  If a pose causes you pain, move to a position that makes your body happier.
